Concept project — 2026

Celestial
Sovereign.

An interactive 3D website: scroll through a floating imperial estate, fly its guardian and orbit the palace in real time.

Self-initiated concept by Prompt & Pixel to show what an immersive 3D website can do. Not a client engagement — the estate is fictional, but the build is real and you can explore it live.

(01) The Idea

What if a website felt
like arriving somewhere?

Most websites are read. Prompt & Pixel wanted to show one that is visited: a real-time 3D place you move through, where every scroll moves the camera and every section is a stop on a journey.

The concept is a fictional imperial mountain estate suspended above the clouds — glazed azure eaves, vermilion verandas, a floating bridge and a winged guardian — told in eight chapters from arrival to twilight. The same approach suits hotels and resorts, real-estate launches, heritage and luxury brands, and product reveals.

What the build includes

  • Real-time 3D Scene & Models
  • Scroll-Driven Camera Story
  • One-Click Cinematic Tour
  • Guardian Flight (Keyboard)
  • Three Lighting Moods
  • Photo Mode & 360° Orbit
  • Mouse & Touch Controls

See it for yourself.

This is a working website, not a video. Open it on a laptop or desktop for the full experience — touch controls work on phones too. The scene streams in about 13 MB of 3D models, so give it a moment on mobile data.

(03) Interaction

Five ways to explore,
one scene.

(01)

Cinematic Tour

One click plays a guided camera flight through the estate, so a visitor sees the whole place without learning any controls.

(02)

Fly the Guardian

Switch to flight mode and steer the winged guardian around the palace with the keyboard — the site becomes something you play.

(03)

Three Lighting Moods

Midnight, Sunset and Aurora re-light the whole scene live, showing how one 3D model can carry several moods or campaigns.

(04)

Photo Mode & 360° Orbit

Free orbit with mouse or touch to look at any detail from any angle, and a photo mode for clean screenshots to share.

(05)

Scroll Storytelling

Each of the eight chapters is tied to a camera position, so scrolling moves you through the story while the text stays readable.

(05) Under the Hood

Real-time 3D,
in a normal browser.

The scene is rendered live with Three.js on WebGL 2 — no plug-ins and no app to install. The estate and the guardian are separate 3D models (glTF), which is what lets the guardian fly independently of the palace.

GSAP ScrollTrigger links scroll position to the camera and chapter text, Lenis keeps scrolling smooth, and the site is built with Vite and hosted on Vercel. For a client launch, Prompt & Pixel would also compress the models further and serve a lighter version to phones.
